Last Week at JPII - 05/12/25

Aaaaaand that's a wrap! Congratulations to the cast and crew of our Spring Play, “12 Angry Jurors”, on an incredible set of performances.

May 12, 2025 - It was a busy week at St. John Paul II Academy! Here’s a look back at some of the highlights from last week, capturing the heart of life at JPII.

Both shows of our Spring Play received nothing but the highest praise from audience members - we are so grateful to everyone who made these incredible performances possible, especially our Drama Director, Mr. Aidan Fletcher.

Habemus Papam! White smoke was sighted, and JPII students began ringing bells, including each ringing the church bell, in joyous celebration on Thursday! Viva Il Papa! Celebrating continued following the election of His Holiness Pope Leo XIV, the first American Pope and the 267th successor to St. Peter! Students watched the live stream, and received the new pope’s first Urbi et Orbi!

Girls’ Leadership had the joy of planting some flowers outside the school entrance under the guidance of Mr. and Mrs. Weiss and Mrs. Jansen. We are grateful for their support!
