Last Week at JPII - 05/19/25
Our 8th grade class has had an excellent trip in the Blue Ridge Mountains of North Carolina!
May 19, 2025 - It was a busy week at St. John Paul II Academy! Here’s a look back at some of the highlights from last week, capturing the heart of life at JPII.
Over the course of the past week, they enjoyed some short hikes, swimming, rock climbing, whitewater rafting, and a multi-day backpacking trip through the Blue Ridge Mountains. Verso l’Alto! To see more photos of their amazing adventure, click here.
On the home front, it was a pretty busy week. On the left, our high school students competed in the State Latin Convention, taking 1st and 2nd in the Certamen Competition! On the right, 7th grade took a small trip of their own downtown to the zoo!
5th and 6th grade took a field trip to Kregel Windmill museum and Arbor Day treetop village in Nebraska City. And Outdoor Leadership for the Boys and Girls wrapped up this week with field games and an outdoor picnic, enjoying the beautiful spring weather.
Hope you enjoyed this week in the life of JPII. Stay tuned for more glimpses in and out of the classroom as we continue to form saints, fully alive!
