The 4th/5th/6th Boys Basketball team stops for a photo with Coach Davis at the end of the season. These boys displayed fabulous sportsmanship and enthusiasm on and off the court - we are so proud of them!

Mar 3, 2025 - Congratulations to JPII’s Certamen teams on clinching 1st and tying for 2nd in the Level 1 National Junior Classical League Certamen Competition this week. Students enjoyed going up against other formidable Certamen teams from the Catholic Homeschooling Association of Omaha. On to the State NJCL Convention on May 10th! Verso l’alto!

A special thank you goes to Mr. Zierke for visiting Girls Leadership this week, and teaching the basics of First Aid and CPR. Students learned how to perform CPR on both adults and infants, and practiced splinting broken bones. Fun fact: “Stayin’ Alive” by the Bee Gees has 103 beats per minute, which is almost exactly the rate at which chest compressions should be performed.

High School Students from JPII and Roncalli Catholic who attended the March for Life this year met up on Sunday afternoon for a reunion at the Murphy’s house. Everyone enjoyed pizza and snacks, played games (including ice soccer and Two Truths and a Lie), sat around a fire, reminisced about the March via a photo slideshow, and finished with Vespers. Much laughter and camaraderie was enjoyed throughout the day and into the evening.

Hope you enjoyed this week in the life of JPII. Stay tuned for more glimpses in and out of the classroom as we continue to form saints, fully alive!
